Went to NoVA in the fall after graduating from Lee.   Spent  far too much time there pursuing varying degree programs, finally deciding on Computer Graphics.

Held various retail jobs, eventually leading to a district mgr. position with a company called "The Artist's Proof" for 5-1/2 years.  Got fed up with company politics, so got an office job for a year and hated it...then the Florida bug hit me, it was time to get outta Dodge (aka Washington).

I've lived here since 1995 and am currently managing a custom framing shop...finally a use for my retail skills and my creativity!  Mr. Hammond would be proud!

Though I haven't kept up with anyone, or even been back to Springfield in about 15 years, if you're wondering at all: Graduated from Penn State in '89, moved to New York city for law school (Fordham, '92) where I've been practicing law ever since.   Finally moved out of skyscraper apartments and built a house out in the 'burbs, into which I moved last spring in time for the birth of my first child, a boy.   Pretty clich,, right?  I can't remember whether being a lawyer was part of the grand plan back in my school days (if I even had such a plan) - and knowing what I know now I wouldn't recommend it to anyone for their life's dream.  But what about you?  Anyone still living the life they thought they would back in '85?

Been in Kentucky since 1986.  First in the Army then came back to go to Murray State University. (Don't worry, I had never heard of it either)  Graduated with a degree in Horticulture after going on and off for 10 years.  Got married (Beth) and promptly had a boy in 1998 (Sam).  I am currently working as a Field Representative for a Dairy Processor (Dean Foods), which means I travel out to farms and make sure we are getting the highest quality milk.  Pretty good for a city boy, eh? 

Miss all my friends from Virginia but such is life.  Stop by sometime and I will pour you up a nice tall glass of good, wholesome milk.

A few years ago, I stumbled across this website. On a whim, I posted my info, reminiscing a bit about an old Sadie Hawkins date of mine (and my most significant 10th grade crush, Tommy Burgess) and then just went on about my business, forgetting all about it. Months passed and an unfamiliar email address showed up in my new mail, Burgesstg. (He nearly got deleted...) Long story short, the email exchange continued, and here we are. Married two years this November, I have (re) discovered the love of my life and I couldn't be happier. Since leaving RE Lee I attended JMU and graduated with a BS in Broadcast Journalism with a minor in Psychology.  The minor has come in handy in corporate America :-)  I married my college sweetheart, Warren Marshall (12 years this July !)  We have 3 wonderful children, Keith (8), Marcus (5) and Jasmine (3) and reside in Raleigh, NC.

I worked in the Telecommunications industry for 7 years and for the past 5 have worked for Kodak, currently running the National Communications & Diagnostics support center for all 1 Hour photo finishing and digital photo retail customers in the US and Canada.

After graduating from Lee, I went to UVA for my undergrad degree and then continued in grad school - finally getting my Ph.D. in psychology in 1999.  I last worked in Richmond in the neuropsychological unit at MCV with people who suffered brain injuries or who had brain tumors. 

I got married in 1998 to Jim Miner, and we had a son in 2001.  We moved back to the area when I was 8 months pregnant, at which time I decided to be a stay-at-home mom for a couple of years.

 Short Version:  Joined the Marines right after high school and signed on for the GI Bill.  Spent 4yrs in the Marine Infantry traveling a respectable bit and attending some great military schools.  Got out in 89' and began San Diego State focusing on Deaf Education.  Summer job as a beach lifeguard at Mission Beach and Scripps pier.  Received a BS in communicative Disorders and taught special ed for 4 yrs.  Switched to U.S. History and currently love teaching.  Very married to a wonderful woman that I don't deserve 7 yrs ago.  Still go rock climbing with Andy Crabb, (just finished a Yosemite trip with him) hang with George Hellmuth and Rich Franks on a regular basis.  Life has been great and may go to the next reunion.  Missed the last one due to a 24 hour mtb race with Andy and George.  Hope everyone is happy and well, I may move back to east coast to be closer to my parents in the next couple years so give a holler.

I worked in the D.C./Baltimore area for several years after graduating from Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine in 1991. After a rather nasty prolonged adolescence I graduated from American University and went to work for the Clinton / Gore Administration where I spent most of the 90’s in the press office. In 1996 I married Noel Abrams, a Fairfax County teacher & great kisser. She and I settled down in the Virginia burbs and were contemplating years of public service when I was suddenly and unexpectedly evicted from my plush White House digs in early 2000.

Kicked out on the street by an elections process that should have been more effectively manipulated by our lawyers (those slackers!), I found work for a few years as the Communications Director for the coolest guy on "the hill", then Senate Minority Whip Harry Reid (D-NV).

In late 2002 I got the crazy idea to start my own Press Logistics company – among other things we build internet “hot spots” for the White House Press Corps. I’ve spent the better part of the last few years trying to decide if it was worth the effort, so far the answer is yes but ask me again in a week!

Back to the family, this year Noel and I had our 1st child, a daughter, Natalie Ann - who is the joy of our world.

I’m looking forward to seeing you and I hope to be pleasantly surprised at how life has treated you these past years.

I graduated with an engineering degree from Union College (and AF ROTC) in Schenectady, NY in 1989 and married Gregory Clark (Class of 87- Union) during my senior year of college. He was at pilot training for the AF and I was finishing up school. We served 2 assignments together in the AF before I separated from the AF in 1995. It was hard to manage both of us not being deployed with a new son, so I got out. Now we have 3 kids: 2 sons, age 10 and 11 and a daughter, 7. I went back to school during the years we had babies and AF moves, and now have been working part-time for an engineering firm near where we live in IL. Moved from the Washington area 10 years ago to a small town called Hendersonville NC, just south of Asheville. There is no traffic to speak of unless its some old person that should not be driving. Spent most of working life in management consulting (mostly telecommunications) and got an MBA from UVA in 1995. After being sprung from Lee, I went to Tech for a year, changed my major 3 times, then ended up at George Mason in nursing. I worked in Labor and Delivery at Prince William Hospital, and was the OB Coordinator at a large OB/Gyn office in Manassas. Eight years ago I became an advice nurse for Kaiser Permanente. I met my husband Pat right after we graduated in 85 and we got married in 93. We have a son, Owen, who is 9 and our daughter, Lily, is 7. Just celebrated 9 years of marriage, no kids, 2 cats I've lived in California for over 9 years - my wife, Julie, is from the San Francisco area. I met her in Boston.

Changed jobs recently and now work for a company of under 20 people running their consulting practice.

I previously spent 16 years doing IT/Business process consulting at Price Waterhouse and Deloitte. Finally tired of the non-stop travel.

I went VA Tech and am a pretty avid sports fan - though all the good times happened after any of us graduated from there. Moved to the "Tarheel State" in 1997. Enjoy living in Raleigh's suburbs with my husband Jeff, (Lake Braddock Class of '84).

We have two sons: Jackson (6/11/96) and Simon (2/19/98), and daughter Ashleigh Grace (1/2/02). We also host Margarita Gubanova, a Belarussian child each summer so that she can get out of the radiation contamination that she lives in after the Chernobyl accident. We are hoping that in '07 she might be able to come and live with us during the school year so that she can attend college here and perhaps break the poverty cycle. We also host a 10 year old boy, Gleb Shurykin, who is an orphan living in Belarus. While we occasionally have a "trying" moment, every moment is always worth it.

Life has sure thrown it's fair share of curve balls, foul balls as well as some home runs ~ it has not been all roses and sunshine, but I wouldn't miss any of it.

I love staying at home after graduating from Radford University and working in Christian Radio and NBC in D.C.

I stay busy with: the boy's year-round West Lake Elementary school; soccer/baseball/basketball/guita/keyboard/confirmation mom; exercising; our church; small town politics; gardening; painting murals in children's rooms--(Mr. Benedict would be proud to know that I really did learn something in Senior Art); reading; cooking and decorating. (It's the Air Force brat upbringing-everytime I feel like moving, I just rearrange my house!) I'd love to hear from you ~ there's always room for one more on my e-mail list!

Reader's Digest Version: Since graduation I married early, divorced quickly, re-married for good ('97) and have 2 sons (16 and 18) and 3 step-daughters (18, 24, 25). After high school I went to college in MO to play baseball, do the fraternity thing (FIJI), party thing, study thing (basically in that order) and, upon finishing, went from a family business to the rental business to gov't sales to owning my own successful business back to gov't sales management to full-time nursing student status to the mortgage business (during school part-time - did I leave anything out?). I'm now living, working and raising my family in Springfield after doing time in MO and MD. I'm currently working for Learning Tree International managing IT portfolios (wife is a PACU nurse at Fairfax) and loving it. Working on yet another career! I sing in a successful gigging local modern & classic rock cover band (Cheap Date - www.cheapdatemusic.net) and still play baseball every spring throwing the occasional strike (keeps me in shape). Add in our 2 grandchildren (Liam and Gabriel) and you can see why I'm hard to find!

God has truly blessed me with a wonderful, full life that includes my perfect soul mate, great kids, huge family, dogs, exciting activities, music, sports and a very bright future....What more can a man ask for in life?!

Hello everyone.  This is the first I have heard about anyone from our graduating class since we graduated.  That was nearly 16 years ago.

I graduated from BYU with a BS in Manufacturing Engineering Technology.  I then worked as an engineer in the weapons industry for a couple of years.  I then changed companies and joined Electronic Data Systems (EDS).  EDS moved us to Michigan where we spent 4 years doing computer engineering for General Motors (GM).  In spring of 2000 EDS transferred us to North Carolina where I currently manage 2 teams of computer programmers.  One group is at Thomas Built Buses (builds school buses) and my other group is with Sabre (US Airways and American Airlines).

I have been married for almost 11 years.  My wife (Wendy) and I have 4 kids (3 girls and a a brand new baby boy).  The girls are 9, 7, and 4 years old and the baby is only a week.  It was cool to find out about this website.  We need to get more of the word out to people so that more of our class can be accounted for.

This is an updated post because in the spring we moved into a newly built dream home. Pat Bolt ('85) and I have now been married 16 years (6/90). We have three boys Jason is 14 (4/92), Conner is 11 (1/95) and Jeremy is turning 8 (9/98). All of our boys have been home-schooled but now Jason will be attending public high school. Jason is our smart boy and participates in the Johns Hopkins Center for Talented Youth program. This summer he took a college level Genetics course. Conner makes friends anywhere he goes and reads sports statistics for fun. Jeremy enjoys playing football and basketball.

Pat has worked for the same company for 18 years and is a shareholder in the company allowing me to stay home and home-school the boys. I am also a publishing representative for Educational Development Corporation, the publisher of Usborne Books. Check out my website if your children love to read or even if they don't. There are over 1300 titles available. With the move we searched for a new church and believe we finally found one that meets are families spiritual needs. Previously I was the children's choir director, directing grades 1-6 and putting on musicals, and I was a regular soloist. I hope to be involved in the music program in some capacity at our new church and I am considering joining the Manassas Community Chorale.

So, my focus is on God, husband, and family and I am the happiest I have ever been. I have never stopped singing and music will always be a part of my life. Would love to hear what others are up to so send me an email or give me a call!

It's really great to see so many familiar names. I've
wondered what happened to so many people! What happened to me? Well, the ordinary stuff after school, NOVA for an Associates, Computer Learning Center for a diploma there, worked various [boring] jobs. 
 
I got married in 1995 to Bill Stockton (class of 85). Big surprise for some ... right! [Hi Alison!] We lived in Colorado for 5 years and moved back to Springfield in 2000. I'm actually closer to Lee now than I was when I went there. 
 
We have a wonderful daughter Abby, born 8/14/01. The kicker is she'll go to Hayfield! I'm just enjoying staying home and taking care of her. I'm a Stampin' Up! demonstrator on the side. Bill is a computer programmer for DEA.

Curiosity has been killing me recently, wondering what my old classmates have been up to! This is a neat website.

Since graduation, I attended Radford University and graduated in December 1990. My then fiance, Will Oliver (Herndon High School, Class of 1985) went to Desert Storm (part one) and I went home to my parents' house. After a couple of crummy jobs, I finally started working for Household Bank across from Springfield Mall. I moved my way up to Assistant Manager in McLean. During that time, I got married in May of 1992 and moved to Manassas. The commute was killing me (from Manassas to McLean), so I begged my husband to let me quit. And I have not worked a day in my life since then!

Due to my husband's change in careers (from police officer with Arlington County PD to criminal justice professor) I have moved around some. I lived in Glenville, WV for 6 years and had two boys there (Paul age 8 and James age 6), then we moved to Radford, VA for 3 years. In Radford, I had a baby girl (Sarah age 3). Finally, in July of 2003, we moved to Huntsville, TX. I hope we never move again. (No snow or ice in the winters, mild weather.) I stay at home with my children and I home school my two boys.

Because of our boys we are an active family in Cub Scouts and we do many fun things.

If the 20th year reunion is in the summer, I would really like to be there. Bye to all.

The question is more like what hasn't happened since leaving school....

To make a really long story short, I am married to a Pentecostal Minister in the Ozarks and absolutely love it here.

We have 8 children Aaron 16, Matt 15, Ashley 15, Rebecca 12, Leah 11, Zach 10, Cyril Lee 9, Corinne 7. Matt, Becca, Zach and Cori are my biological kids the others are adopted but loved all the same.

We are currently in the process of renovating an old abandoned church to open it up as New Beginnings Church, a sprit-filled family church. Attached to it will be Second Chances Ministries which will include a food pantry and an after school program with future plans for a home that will allow children leaving the foster care system to have a place to go and get on their feet. As you can tell I'm really passionate about it.

I would love to hear from and catch up with my old friends.

I recently bought a home in the Winchester area and I work in Fairfax. I am a contractor for the Justice Dept managing one of their computer networks. And of course I owe all the computer knowledge to Ms. Gorden's and Ms. Golden's computer classes. I hope to make it out to the next reunion.

After school I went to Radford University and got a degree in marketing. Met a girl my junior year that is now my wife (and mother of our two kids, Cassandra & Caitlyn, ages 8 & 4). Somehow got into the publishing business and have stayed in that industry since 1990! I'm now the Marketing Director for Eagle Publishing (been there 4 years) - a conservative political publisher. You may recognize Regnery Publishing - we've published books by Oliver North, David Limbaugh, etc. We published the Swift Boat Veterans book "Unfit for Command" last year (helped W win the election!)

I'm in charge of a newsletter written by Bob Novak (Evans-Novak Political Report), a weekly politically conservative newspaper (Human Events, www.humaneventsonline.com) and 3 financial advice newsletters (www.markskousen.com, www.skousenhedgefundtrader.com and www.skousenhighincomealert.com). Hey, I'm in marketing, have to pitch my products!

When not spending too much time at work, which is rare (just ask my wife), I'm in 2 softball leagues, going to Redskin games, updating my fantasy football line-ups, doing homework with the kids, watching Cassandra's softball game or her cheerleading at football games, listening to music (yes, I still love Heavy Metal!!), and just hanging with the family. My life is full of blessings!

I'm a newlywed and lovin it!!! I married my handsome best friend Jim in Aug 04 and we live in Hampton, VA for now. He's Air Force and we expect to move soon, hopefully overseas. I graduated from the University of Colorado with a degree in Management and Marketing. We have a Jack Russell Terrier named "Redskin" and hope to have kids very soon. In the meantime, we keep very busy with work and motorcycles!

Hi! This was a fun site to find and read. I can't believe it will be 20 years! Since graduating, I moved to Iowa for my first two years of college and then back to Philadelphia where I graduated with my B.S. in Physical Therapy. I then moved to West Palm Beach, Florida and have migrated slightly south of that to where I live now. I worked as a Physical therapist in all different settings before deciding my greatest love was Pediatrics. I met my husband, John, (in a personal ad!) and was married in '94. I now own my own Occupational and Physical Therapy staffing agency and staff therapists for our local school system. I work very few hours as a therapist, as I am busy raising our 4 beautiful children. I have 3 boys and 1 girl, ages 7, 6, 3, and 8 months. My boys are very busy in sports and my daughter is into dance and gymnastics. They are the light of my life!

I've lost touch with most of you over the years, but would love to hear from you. I look forward to our 20th reunion.

I can't believe it's been almost 20 years! I been married to my husband Gerard (Wakefield Class of '83) for 14 years now, and we have 3 wonderful children - Tori is 12, Joey is 6, and Matt is 4. We recently moved out of Prince William County and into the beautiful Shenandoah Valley where I have been very busy with soccer, T-Ball, Swimming, Cross Country, and PTO.

Happily married for 13 1/2 years to Dave (Chantilly HS '86). Two great kids. We've been "in the valley" now for almost 7 years and LOVE it! Life is great--a beagle named Copper and mountain views from the front porch. And....hardly any traffic! Tossing the coin on the next reunion....but drop a line if you want!

My life so far....

graduated VA Tech in 1990 with a BS in Accounting, passed the CPA exam shortly thereafter, and began a career in IT (way to use that degree, huh!). Met the man of my dreams (Alex) in 1993 in front of the Scoop Grill in Old Town Alexandria. Spent the next few years traveling around the world putting in financial systems for Oracle. Got sick of the travel and settled with a small company that was subsequently bought out by PSINet. Got laid off while on maternity leave when PSINet went belly up and decided to be a "stay-home" mom. My boys are Benjamin (age 5) and Daniel (age 2). Am currently attempting to potty train the little one and spend most of my days knee deep in you know what.

Wha' happen since 1986...? A lot. The essentials: graduated from GMU in '92 with a BA in English; married a great guy, Dan (B.I. 1984) in 1994; FURst child, Maggie a golden retriever in 1995; first human son in 1998; first human second son in 2001; and first human third son in 2003. No more sons. No more estrogen to try to beat the system, 'tis folly to chance it. Just recently learned of this website. I have maintained occasional contact with scant classmates over the years. Since leaving the world of internal communication (i.e., deception) at MCI, I have taken on stay-at-home, minivan-driving, Nike-chasing, cheek-smooching, laundry-hating, tear-wiping, band-aid-placing, book-before-bedtime-and-don't-forget-to-brush-your-molars motherhood and loving it. Plan to watch "Grosse Point Blank" once again before our 20th. Cheers!

Well, I know that that I didn't actually "graduate" with you in 1986 since my parents moved me to California the year before my senior year. However, since I went to grade school with many of you, I still feel like a Lee High School Graduate.

Like I said, I moved to Los Angeles, received my BA from California State University Northridge, got married, moved to Baltimore in 1993, and then got divorced. Went back to school and got my Masters in Teaching from Johns Hopkins University and started my life as a school teacher. I am now going on 8 years as a teacher.

Met my current boyfriend about 9 years ago and we live together in College Park, Maryland. No kids and love it, but I do have two amazing Westies. I am currently going back to school at Hopkins going for another masters in School Counseling.

I keep in touch with only one person - Gretchen, but I am looking forward to seeing the rest of you at the reunion.

As most of you know, I moved to Alexandria, VA and ended up joining the US Marines. I am about to retire this year after 20 years and found this website which lists names of people as old as me? Anyway, I started college late of course, but as of Dec 2007 will have my MBA in IT Management. I will also be receiving a pension at the same time? I guess it all worked out. Class of "86"; give me a holler when you get a chance, I live very close and after traveling to over 14 countries around the world I ended up right back down the street!

Hi all! I am still the Associate Athletics Director at Rider University in Lawrenceville, NJ and am responsible for marketing and public relations for our 20 NCAA Division I varsity sports programs. I've been here for over 6 years and have loved every minute of it. Sports was my life at Lee and it's great that I've been able to carry over the passion I've always had for sports into my professional life. I'm also pretty involved in campus life as well and teach a freshman business course here every year as well as serve as the advisor for Zeta Beta Tau (ZBT) fraternity...yes, a fraternity - there's never a dull moment with those guys.

I was married in 1993, but divorced in 2000 - primarily due to the hectic schedule that a career in college athletics presents on a daily basis - and am enjoying my single life right now. I still keep in touch with Laura (Podgorski) Beck, Ward Morse, Traci (Hilbus) Giesea, Karen Shea and a few others and we had a great time at our impromptu "15th Year Reunion" in December of 2002 which brought back quite a few others from the class of 1987. Oddly enough, Kevin Long - another from the class of '87 - has been the women's soccer coach here at Rider since 2003 so it's been great hanging out with him over the last couple of years.

Well I am sure many of you are surprised to see I'm still alive.  :-)  I have been fairly busy making a great life for myself since I graduated from Lee in 1987.  I completed my BBA in 1995 with honors and completed my MBA in May 2002.  I am the CFO of a PR firm in Herndon, VA and live fairly close to work in eastern Loudoun county.

I work out every day and hopefully will enter a body building contest in the spring of 2003.  (No, I don't have a mustache, I'm more into the fitness genre' than the body building).

I have a five year old son and my husband and I are having a house built that will be ready in Dec, 2002.

After graduation, I went to NOVA for a while, moved to Arizona for a while, then back to VA, eventually getting my BS in Computer Science from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA. Moved to NYC after graduation, where I lived for 14 years - working in high fashion, retail, film and TV. Moved to Colorado about 5 years ago and now run a successful online company.

Since graduation, I am married with 4 children (Elizabeth, Samantha, Annabelle, and Charlie) and 2 dogs. We are busy but happy and having lots of fun.

Married with two kids, Julianna (7) and Samantha (3) I just decided to start my own Restaurant consulting firm here and offer a wide range of services in the hospitality industry. I currently oversee the culinary operations of 5 restaurants in North America and am also developing a TV series called "Bachelor pad."; A situational cooking show for men. The pilot begins shooting in May, so hopefully it will be picked up by a network soon after. 

I still play soccer and enjoy living in Bermuda. 7 years now! Ward knows. I play golf and when the weather's right, enjoy boating with the family. Juan Cortes and I speak almost daily and are Godfathers to each other's children. He has a son, Santiago. Future Lady Killer. I travel a lot so if your ever in NYC or Miami, California or DC, look me up. 

My wife Janice and I met in Philly. Janice is general Counsel for a large insurance company, Ace Ltd. We enjoy skiing traveling to Europe and entertaining. Oh the parties!

Since graduating from Lee in 87... I graduated from NOVA with a degree in Physical Therapy in 89. Soon after I met my husband in the the little town of Mullins, South Carolina. We have been happily married for 15 years. I am working in a community hospital (Marion County Medical Center) and have been there for 17 years. We have a sweet beautiful daughter, Jessica (soon to be 13) and a fun-loving son, Chase (10). We love snow skiing, 4-wheeling, goofing off at the beach (Myrtle Beach is nearby) or just getting together with friends. This is the friendliest place on earth and I'm so glad I found it! I would love to hear from some old friends! I can't wait to hear more about the 20th reunion!

After graducating from Ferrum College.. where I had way too much fun, played football, got some education.. then blew out my knee in backyard football.. I got a job with Fairfax Co. as a SACC teacher. Yes.. working with children. Needed the insurance. Decided that wasn't my area, so my brother and I started our own painting business. We are now in our 15th years of a successful business. I named my first child after Jordan Landers. Jordyn Elizabeth Lee was born to my wife Laura (Reineck) Lee and I in Feb. 2004.(Laura is a class of 88 alumni from LHS).  Laura and I got sick of the hustle and bustle of NOVA and moved out to Berryville in 2003, got married here, and had a Jordyn a year later. In addition to my 11 year old step-daughter, Cierra (her Dad is Pat Powers class of 1988 LHS) we are expecting our third child this December (It's a BOY !!). I still love to fish, and get a kick out of hanging out with my old HS buds and their families. Seems like most of us ended up married to LHS alumni. We have a good country bash about once a year. At the last one, Gregg Park reunited the original ATM band (with Chris Milera and crew) and played (Gregg has a boy and girl.. just moved to Arizona). Neil Johnson (married his HS sweetheart Chrissy Amese LHS '87) has 3 boys (one just turned 13), Matt Gurrola has two little girls, and Steve Taylor has one boy (same age as Jordyn) He married LHS alumni Sue Ellen Jorsey and they live in Berryville too. So...what's up with me since '87? I graduated from GMU with a BA in Speech Communication. Then spent about five years pursuing my passion - writing. Worked on a freelance basis for several newspapers and magazines during this time and made just enough to keep me happy and to pay the bills. Then again, paying the bills while living in SW VA is a very realtive statement :-) So I decided to grow up and move back to the NoVa area and become a "responsible adult". Two months prior to this though (at a annual beach trip to the Outer Banks), I met the love of my life and best friend Terri. Funny because I spent the drive down swearing off dating in general. The role that timing plays in all of our lives never ceases to amaze me. So fast forward past one wonderful walk on the beach, five unforgettable days together and here we are just outside of San Francisco. We have been married for 3 1/2 years...although the first 2 1/2 coincided with her getting her Masters Degree in Organic Chemistry at UC Davis. So we're essentially still newlyweds :-) She is now a Chemist/Chemical Engineer at Chevron (although don't let that fool you, she's actually kind a hippie chick). I have it made working from home for a Home Title Company. What that means in the real world is...you know the notaries and attorneys that help you sign the docs when you refinance or buy your home? I oversee about 3000 of them. But I get to work over the phone and computer all day. Nothing like that morning commute :) I love fishing, hiking, playing tennis and softball in my spare time. In fact, we currently manage two softball teams out here. We have the two greatest dogs in the world...one older husky/malamute mix and another three year old border collie mix. I'm hoping to get the younger one involved as a "Dock Dog"...so maybe you'll see her flying off of docks on ESPN one day. Once life slows down a bit, I'll probably get the writing bug again at some point. In the meantime, Napa and SF are just around the corner! Just too much to do and to experience. Never felt we would fall in love with CA the way we have...but now a return back East seems highly improbable. Although we do miss our friends and family...not to mention the housing costs back there. Look forward to hearing more info on the 20 yr. reunion.

Ah, nothing like a reunion to stick one with the pointy end of the reality of age. Surely, it hasn't been that long. At some point along the way, I managed to graduate from JMU, Medical College of Virginia, enter the Navy (as they funded my medical school), and suffer through residency training. By some good grace, my wife found me when I was still in college and foolish and we have two little nubbins scurrying around the house (11 and 8.) After about 8 years living outside the U.S., we moved back to the states and I am presently deployed east as the Senior Medical Officer aboard the USS BATAAN, LHD5. I moved home to Michigan nearly 15 years ago to the beautiful lake filled city of Fenton, north of Detroit and south of heaven as Kid Rock refers to it. As a product of a US Army still active duty family, a divorce under my belt, and no family roots left in Virginia, Michigan was the only place that I had roots. It was the best move I could have made. I am happily married, for 8 years, to my husband Brent and we have a great daughter, Nicolette, that is 17 and excited about being a senior this year and even more excited at the possibility of being able to leave home and go away to college in Colorado! I have worked as a psychiatric medical assistant at an inner-city outpatient mental health clinic for the last 13 years and love it. I still make it back to Virginia at least once a year to Virginia Beach and to see my BFF - Chris Murphy-Henry!!! Well since leaving Lee, I attend NVCC for a year and decided to get married instead to my high school sweet heart David Miller. We have been married now 20 years and two children daughter 18 and son 15. I worked in my families business ever since high school. After the kids got a little bigger decided to go back to college at night. In 1999 graduated from NVCC with my Assoc in Business management. In 2000 started Strayer to finish my degree and am still working on it. Have stopped for the last 2 years. In 1999 my husband was left with the running the family business alone. In 2003 dad passed away and my was not interested in coming in anymore. In May 2007 we decided to sell the business and we moved to Fl. where I am currently working as Accts. manager for a A/C company. My husband is still working in the rental business. Our oldest son, Reeve is 13, our son Mason is 12 and our daughter, Katherine is 10! Hey Y'all! Since leaving high school...married in '89, divorced in '95. Moved to Arkansas to get away from Ex. Met life partner in '97 and have 3 wonderful boys, Jimmy(14), Jesse(12) and Jared (5). Live in small town and am enjoying the country life, but miss the beach!! Stay at home mom and very busy with kids in baseball, football, guitar and basketball. We travel a lot in baseball (Bismarck was 5th in state this year!!) For you who watch little league, Arkansas is going to the Little League World Series in PA.

 Some of you may remember that I used to work with a couple of bands back in the day, ATM with Chris Melera, the Buzzin' Cousins with Greg Parks and others.

Well, it seems I was able to turn that experience into a career and have since traveled all over the US and the world working for different bands of all styles as a concert audio engineer.

I have a BS in "Show Production and Touring" and have been privileged to work with the likes of Fleetwood Mac, Natalie Cole, Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, Prince, Sheila E, Run DMC, Tenacious D, Dave Grohl and more local LA bands than I care to remember.

I've lived in tour busses, spent time on private jets and been to more than a couple Grammy Shows. I've mixed shows for 25,000 people one night and 250 the next. I've definitely had my ups and downs. But that's what keeps things interesting:)

At this point, I live with my fiancé, Emerald, in the middle of Hollyweird, CA. I've settled down to a more stable career as an audio-visual designer/integrator. Designing and installing A/V systems in clubs, ballrooms, gov't buildings, conference centers and theme parks.

Overall life is good.

I have fond memories of my time at R.E. Lee and I hope everyone is on the right path.

Graduated from Virginia Tech in 95' with a BA in History. Became a professional Whitewater Raft guide in the summer of 93' have been guiding on the New River in WVA ever since. Became a Guide on the Gauley in 2002. In August of 95' I began a five year career as a Professional Boy Scout. After deciding the Non-profit youth organizations was not a long term thing for me I decided to get into teaching. So that landed me a job with another Non-profit agency, Lutheran Family Services of Virginia. I taught at a private day school for the residents of a youth home, The Presbyterian Youth home of the Highlands. After 4 years there I moved back to the DC area and in August of 2005 started working for Fairfax County Public Schools. Right back where we all started from. I am now in my Second year with FCPS and I think I am moving towards a degree in Public school administration.

I got married in December of 2004 to my Soul-mate and life long partner, we met back in 88-89 while I was a young Freshmen at VA Tech. After a short period, she was a little old for me and I was a little young for her. Then in September of 2003 she found me again, gotta love the internet. We dated long distance until I was able to move up to NOVA from Wytheville VA (nearly Tenn, WVA, NC) Southwestern VA. I finished my Masters Degree in Special Education LD/ED this summer.

Not much new here. After high school, I went to Texas and became a commercial diver in the oilfields. I was married at at 20 and was divorced at 22. I retired from diving a few years later and moved back to Virginia, at which time I went back to school and studied medicine. I've been working in Orthopedic surgery as an Xray tech and assistant for two great Docs that have taken me under their wing for the past 7 years. I was married in 1994 to a great guy Patrick Groseclose from southwest VA.. We now have 2 little boys Dalton,10 and Dillon,6. I work for BB&T bank in the small town we live in. We have almost 300 acres that we farm and our now in the middle of opening a feed and grain store on some of our own property. My parents moved from Springfield to Ceres after my dad retired, they now own about 250 acres that joins us. The boys can ride their 4 wheelers to grandma's and pappaw's house any time.
