I'm sorry that I missed the reunion, but I was busy with my first child in Kansas at the time. I'm now in the San Diego, CA area on a horse ranch. I graduated from San Diego State Univ. in '98 with a Speech Communication BA. I did some corporate event planning and am now managing the website for the Medicine department at the University of CA, San Diego. My husband of 5 years, Bryan, is a horse trainer in the area and he's getting me in shape for competition later this Summer. We have Brody (3) and Abby (1 almost), who light up our days and teach us how to run on only 5 hours of sleep tops! We'll be relocating to our cattle ranch in Burns, OR in the next couple of years and our focus right now is construction on the property. Its a major undertaking, but a lot of fun!

Well, after three years in wonderful, slow-paced, Peachtree City, Georgia, I decided to move back up to the hustle-and-bustle of the Northern Virginia Area in February 2005. Hi everyone!  It is great to see so many of you are doing well.  After I graduated from Lee HS my stepfather adopted my brother Pierre and myself right before I started freshman year at VT, so I became Dorothy Han instead of Sul.

After I graduated from VT I moved to Charlotte, NC to work for Weyerhaeuser Company.  I also enrolled in the part-time MBA program at UNC Charlotte in 2001 .  Grad school was a bit boring when I started out, but then I met my husband Bruce!  We were married December 14th in 2001.

I still play violin with a local orchestra in Charlotte and started a string quartet (CrownStringQuartet.com).  I also train in Tae Kwon Do and in the process of preparing for my black belt exam in the next 6 months.

In case anyone remembers my younger brother Pierre he is also doing well.  He finished his Junior and Senior years at Centreville HS after my family moved to Clifton, VA.  Pierre graduated from West Point in 2002 and was commissioned as a 2nd Lt and earned his Ranger tab in April 2003.  Please send him your prayers, he leaves for Afghanistan this summer.

Yup, still in Virginia, and I actually drive passed Lee every morning to work.  I have been teaching in FCPS for 6 years.  I taught six grade for 4 years, and for the past 2 years I have been teaching 4th.  I worked in Vienna for 5 years, but, after being offered an opportunity to open a new Elementary School in Kingstowne (Island Creek), I have spent the last year building a new school community.  I am going for my National Boards in Education next year, so I'll keep my fingers crossed- not very easy.  I also dabble in screenplays and I have been authoring a book for scholastic publishing that will hit the shelves next fall.  Yuck, that sounded like a total, I need to look good for these people message....In other news, i can't pay my bills and also tutor and wait tables to make ends meet, and I am bitterly single :)  Ah, don't we love life.  Just kidding.  I am happy to hear about everyone and looking forward to seeing you at the reunion.  I am still a happy ! Hello, class of '94.  I can't believe it's been 10 years!  Here's the update on yours truly:  I graduated from GMU in 1998 with a double major in Russian Studies and Psychology, then went on to get an M.A. in Linguistics, also from GMU, in 2001.  I worked at CACI, a government contracting company for almost a year and a half, then decided that type of work isn't for me, so I switched to teaching reading and math skills at Huntington Learning Center.  Right now, I'm on a leave of absence, as I am recovering from surgery for Ulcerative Colitis, a disease with which I was diagnosed in March.  I have two more surgeries to go, so it is very unlikely that I will make it to the reunion, so I thought I'd say "hi" on this page instead.  It's been fun reading everyone's bios.  I hope all is well with everyone.

Hello!  Ten years fly by, don't they?  Here's a quickie update of my whereabouts:

I graduated from William & Mary in '98, did a 6-month internship in China through the Ohio State University, and then got a job with an e-commerce company in China where I met my wife.  In 2001, we came to Ohio for me to go to grad school.  I got my master's in Chinese language pedagogy at OSU in Dec. 03, and started my PhD in the same field in January.  My wife, Monica Xia, is about to wrap up a degree in accounting.  We're happy living the ever-expectant lives of students, dreaming of the nice house, nice car and nice jobs we'll have someday...

 I graduated in '98 from NC State with a BS double major in Food Science and Chemistry and a minor in Nutrition. My first job out of school was a Food Microbiologist only to quickly realize that was not for me. I landed a job with the FDA as a Food Inspector and I love it. I have been with them for 5 years. I married a wonderful man in 2000, and we have made our home in Randleman, NC. Our wedding was in Hawaii next to a waterfall with our family and close friends attending. Quite the fairy tale!! We have a BMW motorcycle and have toured the country on it over the past four years (40 states and counting). We do not have any kids, after all there isn't any room for one on the motorcycle! I own a Stained Glass business which has recently taken a backseat to my latest project, building houses. I'm out in San Luis Obispo, racing mountain bikes (which consists of the occasional broken bone and the loss of skin), drinking wine and having a blast in general. I'm still single and haven't even though about marriage until AT LEAST the age of 35...and even that's debatable, for I still have a bunch of stuff that I want to do. I graduated from JMU (what????) in May of '03 and moved out here two months later. I have an awesome job making maps...I guess that geography major served a purpose. I am amazed at how far we seem to have come in 10 years. I graduated from JMU in 1998 and started working in Special Education. I left that to become a video and television producer/director/coordinator for a company in Alexandria. Unfortunately we were primarily supported by government contracts and after 9-11 business got really slow. I started two really small companies one for marketing and one for pottery, but after a lot of floating around (church secretary and Director of Marketing) I have landed as a loan officer and am loving it!

I am off to live in London, England (as of early August 2007). I went to Mason and got a BA in psych, but soon decided that the paycheck and the stress of working in mental health were not for me, so after getting an MBA at GW, buying a condo in Arlington, and getting settled in my career, I fell in love with traveling and with Europe :)

After transferring four times as an undergraduate, and switching majors one hundred and eleventeen times, I finally graduated from Colorado State University with a degree in mathematics.  Since high school I've been engaged twice (two different women actually said yes, for at least a little while anyway), skiied for one season with sponsorship backing, and finally wound up a yocal in a small town in the mountains of Colorado where I spent a third of the time on the mountain, a third of the time in the bar, and a third of time in class.  I am now a graduate student at CSU with the hopes of soon taking the qualifiers and pursuing a PhD in mathematics.

A lot has happened since high school.  I left for the University of AZ where I got a degree in History and French in May of 2000.(which was a great excuse to live in France for a year!)

Hello to all of my fellow Lancers.  It certainly feels like a heck of a long time.  Does anyone else feel as old as I do?  Anyway, I graduated from George Mason University in 1999 with a BA in English.

I moved to PA immediately following and worked in a
local school district for a year.  I then went back to school, Indiana University of PA, earning my MA/Teaching English in 2002.

I am currently employed as a Communication Skills Specialist at Indiana Junior High School where I help 8th graders suffer through their English classes!  Who'da thunk it?

I haven't changed much since graduation, but I am engaged to a very patient human being, James, and we have two children: Myrtle the Turtle and Super Puppy the Terrier.  I would like very much to say
that my life has been nothing but blissful, but those of you who know me know that death has plagued me and my family since I was a little girl, and unfortunately it found us again.  My beautiful sister Ann was killed in a car accident two years ago.  We miss her very much.

Wow!  It looks like everybody is doing great!  I'm still in Chicago since attending the University of Chicago for undergrad.  After graduation in '99, I continued on in graduate school (still at the U of C).  I am scheduled receive a PhD in Neurobiology this June 2004, so I'm job searching in the Chicago area.  I married Danny Fagen Sept. 2003, bought a house, got a black lab, and live happily in the suburbs (actually, I did it in reverse of that order).  For those of you who may have known my siblings better - they're all doing extremely well.  Jake is married in Northern VA, and Zach is at JMU, for example.  The oldest 2 are happy and have kids, and all that other stuff....

Lucky for me at one of my jobs a met and married my dream girl. We also found a sweet townhouse not to far from where I lived while going to Lee. Our little girl was born on Oct 25, 2003 and is about to turn one. Also got into real estate investing and just became a realtor.
