Mr. David Charles Campbell, 63, of Belfast Drive, husband of Lisa C. Campbell, entered into rest on Sunday, January 26, 2014 at his residence.

His funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 31, 2014 in the Chapel of Rowland Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Knotts officiating. Interment will follow in Pineview Memorial Park. Mr. Campbell received his Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from Old Dominion University, where he achieved numerous goals before graduating in 1972.

One of his most crowning achievements was being the President and Founder of David Campbell Concrete Construction Company based out of his home town of Springfield, VA, from 1979 to 1999. Upon retirement, he headed south with his lovely wife where he put down roots at Mt. Vintage Plantation Golf and Tennis Club in North Augusta.

Along with being an avid golfer, he also enjoyed Sunday sermons at True North Church in North Augusta.

Additional survivors include two sons, Travis C. Campbell and Brean M. Campbell and his wife Anna; one granddaughter, Jerdahn Campbell; one brother, John Campbell and his wife Gayle; two sisters, Colleen Jozefczyk and her husband Joe, and Mary Miller and her husband Darryl; and Buster Campbell. Pallbearers will be Chuck Smith, Eddie Gall, Thomas Wenger, Ron Morrison, John Wehner, and Bruce Latham. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service. Mr. Campbell and his family wish that in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to The Preston Robert Tisch Brain Tumor Center at Duke University, DUMC Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710 to continue research and the war against brain cancer.
