Kenneth "Ken" Hurdle, Jr age 59 of Snellville, GA passed away, Wednesday, June 29, 2011.

Ken graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Springfield, VA.

He attended Ferrum College, Ferrum, VA and Northern Virginia Community College. He graduated in 1976 from East Tennessee State University, Johnson City, TN.

Ken was a member at First Baptist Church Snellville. He served 4 years in the U.S. Air Force as a loadmaster. He also worked for 26 years with DeKalb County Parks & Recreation department as Safety Coordinator. He was a lifelong member of National Recreation and Parks Administration and Georgia Recreation and Park Association.

Ken was predeceased by his father Kenneth H. Hurdle, Sr. He is survived by his wife of 35 years: Rebecca Hurdle, Snellville and his Mother: Ahleen Hurdle, Loganville, GA.
