Robert is the beloved husband of Mary Louise Carroll,  loving father of Kenneth Robert "Robby" Carroll, son of Robert Edward Carroll, and brother of Steven E. Carroll.

He was an associate of Giant Food Inc. for 38 years.

A memorial service was held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 14, 2018 at St. Mark's Lutheran Church, 5800 Backlick Rd. Springfield, VA.
