Lawrence Everett Buscher Jr., 58, of
Kernersville passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2006, in
Winston-Salem. He was born April 5, 1948, in Washington, D.C., a
son of the late Lawrence E. Buscher and Emily K. Buscher of Port
Orange, Fla., who survives. He was an employee of Sears with 35
years service. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his
wife of 35 years, Dianne Hughes Buscher; a daughter, Dr. April
L. Buscher, and her husband, Tobias Gloth, of Durham; a sister,
Suzanne Wilson of Salisbury; two nieces, Buffie Wilson of
Raleigh and Leigh Wilson of Torrence, Calif.; a nephew, John T.
Wilson of Atlanta, Ga.; and his father-in-law and mother-in-law,
Lawson and Isabelle Hughes of Bedford, Va. A funeral service
will be conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 5, from the graveside
at Bethesda United Methodist Church Cemetery, Huddleston, Va.,
with the Rev. Tammy Franklin officiating. Friends may call after
noon today, Dec. 4, and the family will receive friends from 6
to 8 p.m. at Updike Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Bedford.
