It is with deepest regrets, that we must inform all R.E. Lee High School Alumni and the
Class of 1961 of the passing of Glanvel "Pinkie" Horton
Pomeroy.
Pinkie died at home in Lakeridge, VA on June 7, 2002 unexpectedly.
She is survived by her daughter Jennifer and son-in-law Jared White in
McDonough, Georgia, and two grandsons, Jacob Spencer and Justin Tyler.
Her presence is missed everyday but her sprit and loving heart lives
on in all of the lives she touched. Memorial contributions were
made in her name to the: Shiners Hospital Office of Development,
International Shrine Headquarters, 2900 Rocky Point Dr. Tampa, FL
33607-1460.
