| It is with great
sorrow, that I inform the Lee High School Alumni and especially the
Class of 1966 of the passing of Lynn Matthews. Lynn passed away on
Thursday evening August 14, 2008, after a two year fight with cancer.
Lynn had moved to Southern
California from the Springfield area about 10 years ago and more
recently to Arizona to be closer to his family. Over the years, Lynn
came back and visited with many of his friends from Lee and reminisced
about the good times we all had in the years passed. Lynn never
changed his outlook on life or his personality. Everyone was his
friend and everyday another adventure to explore. Over the last
several months of Lynn's life many old friends from Lee traveled to
the small town of Pine, Arizona to visit with him and say goodbye.
Lynn was blessed with a loving family and many dear friends, who will
miss him greatly.
