The Robert E. Lee High School community is celebrating the 50^th Homecoming weekend beginning October 8, 2010.  In addition to the Homecoming Parade and Football Game, Lee Alumni and Friends Association (LAFA) is coordinating the following activities during Homecoming weekend for ALL ALUMNI.  

LAFA has reserved a block of rooms at the Springfield Hilton for all Lee Alumni at a discount rate of $89++/night.  The reserved rate is offered through September 16, 2010.  Please call the hotel for reservations at 703-971-8900 and reference the Lee High School Alumni Homecoming.

Friday October 8th

9:00 am                      Ladies & Gents Golf Outing hosted by the Class of '70.

4:00 pm                        Homecoming Parade starting at Lee

7:00 pm                        Homecoming Football Game - Lee vs. Lake Braddock

                                    Alumni T-shirts for sale inside the gate

8-11pm                         "Sock Hop" at Houlihan’s in the Springfield Hilton

                                    Finger food while it lasts – Cash bar

Saturday October 9th

Noon-4:00 pm               Family Picnic at J.W. England Stadium. Ball-park food will be on sale by the LHS Boosters, or bring our own lunch.

1:00-3:00 pm                 School Tours

8:30 pm-?                     Homecoming party at JAXX Nightclub

                                    Reunions: 50^th-1960; 45^th-1965; and 40^th-1970

                                    Dance band – Cash bar

Cost – $15 Ddonation to the LAFA Scholarship Fund with mail-in registration until Sept. 30.  Email confirmation will be provided.

Sunday October 10th

10:00 am-2:00 pm         Brunch for all classes at the Springfield Hilton.

2:30 pm-3:30 pm           Memorial Service at First Baptist Church of Springfield

3:30 pm-5:00 pm           Reception afterwards for all classes
