Telling Tales Outside of Class
'64 World History Chinese Fire drill
TC Marshall's Modern World History class was presided over by one of the most popular teachers ever encountered in Lee's halls. His obvious crush on Miss Russell and sporty black Karman Ghia, as well as his enthusiasm for teaching, made the class a senior (along with junior Ken Stubel) favorite.
One afternoon, aided and abetted by Mrs. Sutton, we told him that Mr. Parrish needed to talk with him in his office. The two classes switched classrooms.
Upon returning from meeting with a very puzzled Mr. Parrish, TC walked back into his classroom, only to find it occupied by another class and teacher who very nearly convinced him that he was in the wrong place.
He found us just across the hall and told us that such behavior would lead him to an early grave. He did appear pale. |
